These freshly picked ears can be enjoyed raw, or boiled/steamed for 5 minutes or so to heat through (just enough to melt your butter). They are best when eaten within a day or two because the sugars in sweet corn rapidly turn to starch once harvested. (That's why shipped in sweet corn from the store is generally tougher and lacking sweetness.)
